Education and Training
Dr. Tai’s experience is the culmination of rigorous and renowned training. Through the Baccalaureate M.D. scholarship program, he was accepted to medical school as an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, where he double-majored in biological sciences and business administration. He obtained his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine and was awarded the Dean’s Research Scholarship, which fully-funded a year of his research in regenerative medicine.
Dr. Tai remained in Los Angeles for an intensive five-year Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery residency. To further refine his acumen, he completed a Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship in Houston, Texas under Dr. Russell Kridel, at one of the most storied and recognized Facial Plastics programs in North America. Along this journey, Dr. Tai was exposed to a myriad of surgical techniques and technologies, allowing him to incorporate the best-practices of facial plastics into his work.
